Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce participates in Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for our members when they open a new or newly-renovated/relocated business in Collin County. Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies serve to announce the business to the community and celebrate with the business owners, their families, and the community.

A ribbon cutting is the ceremonial opening of a brand new, newly renovated or newly relocated business that has opened within the last six months. It can inaugurate an organization’s first day of business or it can take place weeks or months after the business’ soft opening.

Since the ribbon cutting marks a very significant moment in the business’ history, this is also a great photo opportunity. The ceremony gives the business owner or manager a chance to say a few words to their esteemed guests. Business owners use this time to publicly thank their financial supporters, their employees, their friends and family, and their business partners. They also take the opportunity to talk exclusively about what their business offers, goals and mission.

There is absolutely no cost to host a chamber ribbon cutting for a qualifying milestone event. However to qualify for the ribbon cutting ceremony, you must be a new or current Chamber member in good standing with a membership level of Silver, Gold or Platinum.
